BHRC & IHRC Human Rights Report on January 2020 in Bangladesh
Total 168 persons killed in January, 2020

The documentation section of Bangladesh Human Rights Commission (BHRC) and International Human Rights Commission-IHRC jointly furnished this human rights survey report on the basis of daily newspapers and information received from its district, sub-district and municipal branches. As per survey it appears that 167 peoples were killed in January, 2020 in all over the country. It proves that the law and order situation is not satisfactory. Bangladesh Human Rights Commissions extremely anxious about this situation. In the month of January, 2020 average 5 people were killed in each day.
The Law enforcing agencies and related Govt. departments should be more responsible so that percentage of killing May be brought down to zero level. To institutionalize the democracy and to build human rights based society the rule of law and order must be established everywhere. Through enforcing rule of law only such violation against human rights can be minimized.

Killing for dowry 4, killing by family violence 22, Killed due to social discrepancy 42, Political Killing 7, Killed by Law enforcing authority 15, Killed by BSF 13, Killed due to doctor negligence 4, Abduction 7, Assassination 5, Mysterious death 39, Women & Chilled killed due to rape 9.
Killed by several accidents: A. Killed by road accident 257, B. Suicide 15.
Besides victims of torture: Rape 60, Sexual Harassment 34, Torture for Dowry 7, Journalist torture 2.

IHRC South-East Asian Regional Human Rights Summit-2015

IHRC deeply critised and protest on blogger’s killing

Don’t take law in your own hands

International Human Rights Commission-IHRC is one of the worldwide Peace & Human Rights bodies. It was established in Geneva, Switzerland on 24th December, 2003.

On dated 31st October 2012 at 3:30 pm miscreant hacked to death publisher Foysal Arefin Dipon, owner of ‘Jagriti’ publication of his Aziz Super Market Office in City’s Shahbag are.

In same day at 3:00 three bloggers and writers including the publisher of Shuddhashar Prokashani Ahmedur Rashid Tutul have been hacked in the capitals 8/13 Lalmatia area. Two other inuured bloggers writers are Sudeep Kumar Roy Barman, who writes under the name of Ranadipan Basu and Tareq Rahim. Drs. Will Janssen, International President and Dr. Saiful I. Dildar, International Secetary General of IHRC has deeply criticized and protested about killing of bloggers Dipon and other’s two bloggers who seriously injured. This Human Rights Commission claim for taking any legal action before investigation of killed and injured bloggers to government. This Human Rights Commission believed that anyone have not only rights to hurt of others feeling but also it is totally human rights violation to occur this cruel type of event by taking the law in to own hands.
